After announcing a beta last year with the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction, Ubisoft has finally gotten off their lazy asses and are ready to release it. The multiplayer closed beta will go live on April 12 to a select few, including those who actually bought Conviction like me and Rin. You can expect our first impressions the second we get our dirty little hands on it.
It will include 3 different classes: the rifleman, engineer and scout and two maps to play on (Pipeline and Mill). The two gameplay modes confirmed are called Conflict and Saboteur, but what they entail is still not known. There will also be cool gear that you can unlock as you progress and level up I assume. Finally, If you’re in Europe and want to get in on the action, Ubisoft is having a little contest on their official facebook to win beta keys and goodies. So go give it a shot.
