After playing the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta for the past week or so (expect a preview in the next few days), I became pretty familiar with a lot of aspects of the game. But there’s one aspect that I still couldn’t grasp: werewolves. Yes, that’s right, the mythical beasts of legend. While I would notice the Bodark’s wolf emblem when I played, I never really gave it much thought as to what it meant. Now, thanks to the newest trailer released by Ubisoft, it all makes sense.
Future Soldier is actually a metaphor for the ongoing battle between ghosts and werewolves! A battle so secret and mysterious that Hollywood hasn’t even made a crappy adaption yet… Or maybe the game is just about shooting guys in the face… yeah that’s probably it. And if you enjoy that kind of thing, then go ahead and watch the above trailer as it’s full of it. That and explosions… you can never have enough explosions. Ghost Recon Future Soldier will be out on May 22, for PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version drops on June 12. Just to be safe, try not to play the game during a full moon.
