After their project plans for the next eight years were leaked earlier this week, Bungie is now saying that they basically won’t have a presence or anything to announce at E3 2012. In response to a fan question asking them if they have completed a game presentation for the expo, Bungie had this to say:

Nope. We never started one, and we’re not going to be at E3 in any official capacity this year. Some of us will be there, lurking from booth to booth, but don’t expect any announcements.

You would think that with four games and four expansion packs on the way through Project Destiny, that they could at least show a teaser. But I guess Bungie is taking a page from Valve’s playbook who have also stated that they’ve got nothing to show this year. A shame really, I definitely wanted to see what a “sci-fantasy shooter” looks like, but I guess we’ll have to wait till next year. Well at least we’ll see Halo 4 this year, which is next best thing, I guess.
