After releasing a patch for Fez a few days ago to fix some of the game’s issues, users quickly began reporting that the patch itself was corrupting their game saves. Polytron acted fast, and thankfully they have now gotten Microsoft to pull the patch from Xbox Live. Users can try to get rid of the problematic patch by going into their hard drive settings and clearing their Xbox 360 cache.
Now that the patch is gone, though, new players won’t be affected. As for a more permanent solution, Polytron writes in their latest update that, “We’re trying to find out what happened and fix it as soon as possible. Like, in less than two months.” Stay tuned for further updates.
