So here we have it, the first trailer for this game to feature gameplay. It’s unsure if this is exactly how the game will look on 3DS, but regardless, we get a look at a new area that we’ve never seen in this series before, with lots of red rocks and yellow grass.
As well, there’s a new boss monster which looks like a giant monkey thing, it looks to be taken straight from Monster Hunter Frontier, the first Japan-only MMO of the series. There are also new features added to the combat mechanics, such as climbing on monsters and hacking away with a knife, as well as climbing on walls and… Hacking away at monsters with a knife while they accompany you in climbing walls.
