The Ouya is really something of a wonder; a brand new, untested console that promises to give gamers an open experience. Yet many are so excited that the console’s Kickstarter has now racked up $5.2 million with 19 days of funding still left to go. What’s even more interesting is that it appears that the system just might have its first exclusive.

Robert Bowling, ex-Creative Strategist for Call of Duty, announced yesterday via a video update that his new studio Robotoki will release an exclusive prequel to his upcoming next gen game Human Element. While the fully realized game won’t arrive until 2015, the Ouya prequel (which will arrive in episodic installments) will give gamers an early taste of what they can expect.

While Human Element will take place 35 years after the start of a zombie apocalypse, the Ouya prequel will show the effects of the catastrophe soon after it occurs, allowing players to watch as the world quickly falls apart. Bowling also mentioned in his update that Kickstarter backers would be receiving exclusive updates on the game.
