Gamigo is a German company specializing in online games for a casual market. The company’s website was hacked in March, and nobody payed much mind back then, but now more than 8.2 million email addresses and 11 million passwords have been leaked through the hacking website InsidePro.

“It’s the largest leak I’ve ever actually seen,”Steve Thomas, founder of PwnedList, told Forbes. “When this breach originally happened, the data wasn’t released, so it wasn’t a big concern. Now eight million email addresses and passwords have been online, live data for any hacker to see.”

The archive has been taken down at this point, but people have already gotten their hands on it. All of the passwords in the archive were encrypted, but according to one of the users on the forum, he had already decrypted 94% of them. Whether this is actually true or not, it’s safe to say that somebody is hard at work obtaining all of this information.
