While Xbox 360 users have already gotten their hands on and beaten much of Skyrim’s first piece of DLC, PS3 and PC users are still waiting patiently. According a recent statement from Bethesda, though, they might be waiting for a while longer.

Pete Hines, marketing executive for Bethesda, recently posted the following statement to Twitter, “We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I’d tell you.”

Dawnguard, which is the first major expansion to Skyrim, launched exclusively on Xbox 360 back on June 26. From what Microsoft has said, the Xbox would only have a 30 day exclusivity window, which should have expired by now.

“The first two add-on content drops will be released exclusively on Xbox 360, 30 days before they’re available anywhere else.” – Microsoft

While Bethesda is being quiet on the matter–possibly due to their contract with Microsoft–Pete Hines did go on to state that, “I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded. Not that news is never coming.” So the content is surely coming, the only question is when.
