Despite popular intrigue regarding E3 possibly running in a more optimal location, it has recently been announced by the Entertainment Software Association that a contract was made with the city of  Los Angeles, California which says that they will hold their annual expo in Los Angeles through 2015.

“My office was committed to doing whatever it took to keep the largest annual conference that the city hosts here for another three years,” according to a statement released by LA mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. The Electronic Entertainment Expo has been held in Los Angeles for 16 of the 18 years it has existed. In 1997, the event was hosted in Atlanta, Georgia, and in 2007, it was located in Santa Monica, California.
