Hot off the heels of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD is Deadlight, the next game in Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade event. Deadlight is a 2.5D sidescrolling platformer with survival horror elements, it was developed by Tequila Works and is being published by Microsoft Studios.

You play as Randall Wayne, a survivor in a post-apocalyptic world filled to the brim with ravenous zombies. The art direction looks dreary and depressing, but at the same time beautiful. And the gameplay definitely reminds me of previous XBLA games like Limbo and Shadow Complex. Deadlight will be available for download tomorrow, August 1, for 1200 MSP.
