Electronic Arts’ sales for their Battlefield Premium service has reached 1.3 million as of the 30th of June, according to the company’s first quarter 2013 fiscal earnings report. According to the report, despite EA’s growing digital sales via Battlefield Premium, their physical sales are dropping in revenue.

The report listed $955 million in total revenue with $201 million in net earnings, in contrast to the earnings in their first quarter of 2011, which listed $999 million in total and net profits of $221 million. The statistics showed a 4.4% decline in revenue and 9% decline in profits from each year to the next. The company stated that the outstanding sales of Battlefield Premium made up for  the less-than satisfactory Star Wars: The Old Republic.
