Hyrule Historia is an encyclopedia themed around The Legend of Zelda franchise. It was published in Japan by Shogakukan and Nintendo, and it provided a deep and thorough overview of the history of the series, as well as information on the evolution of Hyrule as time went on, and even a collection of concept artwork, among other things.
It’s been reported that Dark Horse, in collaboration with Nintendo, will be publishing the book in the United States in 2013. It will apparently go for $35 upon its release next year, and Dark Horse gave us a description of the book:

Dark Horse hasn’t made any announcements about the release date, but reports say that The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia should be available on January 29th in 2013, and it will be hardbound with 272 pages.
