Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney

In a surprising move, Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed the existence of two Ace Attorney games. Ace Attorney 5 and Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney. Famitsu will unveil the two argumentative games later in this week’s issue according to Andriasang. Ace Attorney 5 will be for the 3DS and will feature Phoenix Wright as the star of the case, but this time around he won’t be alone. A mysterious young woman in yellow attire has also been confirmed to play a major role in the story.

Now, for the bout between Layton and Ace, the game is featured on a major add in the magazine’s back cover. The ad is a puzzle meant with the number “6211,” which is meant to be read as “1129,” perhaps signaling the game’s release date. Famitsu has also listed Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney with a tentative 2012 release frame, whereas Ace Attorney 5 as a TBA. We will keep this story under close watch.
