Black Ops 2 wouldn’t be a Call of Duty game without tons of additional content released through DLC, and now we’ve got details on the first batch that will be available soon. The above retail display poster was spotted by a user on Reddit and reveals that players will not only be getting their hands on five new maps, but also a brand new weapon.
The DLC pack will be called ‘Revolution’ and includes the competitive multiplayer maps Hydro, Grind, Downhill and Mirage. In addition, the pack will include a special Zombies map called Die Rise. Finally, a new weapon called the Peacekeeper SMG will be added to the game which will hopefully make multiplayer matches a bit more civil.
There’s still no official word on pricing and platforms, but according to the poster ‘Revolution’ will land on Xbox Live first (like previous games) and will probably be included in the $50 season pass. Players will be able to extend their Black Ops 2 play sessions with this new DLC starting on January 29.
