In this new trailer which debuted today directly from Nintendo, we can see that The Wonderful 101 is looking more and more polished as its release date gets closer. The Wonderful 101 had always reminded me of Pikmin, but as we can see from this video, the game also looks highly reminiscent of Viewtiful Joe.

The brash, cool and hip Duke Nukem-ish lines the heroes use remind me quite a bit of that title. It should come as no surprise knowing that PlatinumGames (once called Clover Studio) is behind this project. Expect The Wonderful 101 to be released on Wii U sometime this year. Also, cool looking giant robots abound in this trailer.
