Gears of War: Judgment demo

The latest entry in the Gears of War series will be out on March 19, and this will also be the day that a demo will be released for the game. It will let players get a taste for the brand new OverRun Mode and will offer some perks to those who end up buying the full game. Pre-ordering at GameStop will also net you some special rewards.

The Gears of War: Judgment OverRun demo will feature a brand new class-based competitive mode that is completely new to the series. It’s Locust against COG in an objective-oriented mode with two five-player teams alternating sides. Playing the demo won’t just be a fun distraction, though, as any multiplayer XP you gain will carry over to the final game.

All you have to do to make sure your XP is saved is to buy and play Judgment during the first week of release. Doing so will give you a head start on unlocking special rewards, weapon skins, achievements, and more. Those who want early access to the Gears of War: Judgment demo will need to pre-order at GameStop. PowerUp Rewards members who pre-order the game at a local store or online will get exclusive access to the demo starting on March 15.

The offer also applies to anyone who pre-ordered the game before the demo was announced, so don’t worry if you did it early. Finally, pre-ordering the game through GameStop will give you access to an exclusive “Young Marcus” character skin and Lambent weapon skin. Pre-ordering at any other retailer will only get you a Classic Hammerburst weapon.
