Cosplayers

We geeks are a special breed of people. Our intellect usually surpasses those of the general populace, we’re able to obtain decent to above average grades with little effort, and our hobbies aren’t just seen as entertainment, but a way of life. So when we love something, we want to embody that entity in anyway possible. This could be by memorizing all the special moves of a fighting game, knowing the best item combinations for champions that lead to a particular build in a strategy game, or spending months creating clothing and props to become the character themselves. This piece is dedicated to those individuals, those cosplayers who have gone over and beyond to be their favorite character. So, here it is: the seven best video game cosplayers we’ve seen.

Naked Snake (Metal Gear Solid)

Cosplayers

If any man could get me to turn, it’d be Naked Snake. Who doesn’t love a man who’s a puppet to every greater mind around him. It doesn’t matter though because this man is a stealth machine, and I heard he was also a great lover. Rick Boer of  RBF is the model for this particular Snake.

Female Clicker (The Last of Us)

Cosplayers

Next up the infamous Clicker. Those who have played The Last of Us know just how deadly and terrifying these creatures can be. The model of this cosplay is Emma Banks and the one to put the piece all together was JWBeyond.

Jack (Mass Effect 2)

Cosplayers

This notorious beauty made her debut in Mass Effect 2. She’s a super powered biotic with a heart of…well, she’s just got a heart. Who cares if she’s a good person; this woman is a bad ass. The model, Jia Jem, does well to embody the attitude and death glare of the character Jack. That nude suit is awfully convincing as well.

Ashe (League of Legends)

Cosplayers

All of you may not know of this game. However, for those who do, are sure to have played her at least once (or twice, or three times…). Meet Ashe, the archer of League of Legends. When built correctly, this champion can be a deciding factor of the game.  Ashe is underestimated because of her beauty. This particular picture embodies Ashe’s playfully flirty mockery of the enemy. We don’t have source for this beautiful lady, but if you want more information on cosplayer Han Meijuan, click on the link below.

Kos Mos (Xenosaga)

Cosplayers

Ah, Xenosaga. Who doesn’t love a sci fi game coated with religion as a story? This was my favorite PS2 franchise, so I had to find a picture. Kosmos always had a gaze which waivered between inquisition and untold knowledge. Nemovalkyria designed parts of the outfit as well as modelled for this picture.

Travis Touchdown (No More Heroes)

Cosplayers

Who doesn’t love an unambitious anti hero? I love that this model embraces Travis inner otaku. Ha, ha. An otaku playing an otaku. Get it? Anyhow, the photographer’s uncanny composition is very fitting for this uncanny game. Mike has also mastered that cocky twinkle in one’s eyes.

Tidus (Final Fantasy X)

Cosplayers

I don’t remember Tidus having… sun kissed chiseled abs, but Leon Chiro fits into Tidus’ role quite well. It’s obvious that a lot of work went into this outfit. For anyone who delved deeper into his creative process knows the amount of time Leon spent making that hair look the part. By the way, he’s also cosplaying as Zell Dincht (Final Fantasy VII) in the featured image at the top.

About Dotta

I'm on this site because I game and I have a preference for action RPG's. I don't discriminate though. If it looks decent, I'll play it. I make contributions through reviews, but I'm here to draw. My interests involve drawing, biking, sleeping, and ogling.
